Are You An Entrepreneur Who Believe Your Dreams Are Worth Chasing? 50

As An Entrepreneur, Do You Believe That Your Dreams Are Worth Chasing?

It’s not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves.

Are you getting the results you want in your business?

Here’s a quick story for you:

Have you ever known anyone who sold a stock, only to see it soar through the roof? They spend the rest of their life saying “if only I had given it a little more time.” This same principle applies to  business, whether you’re starting a lemonade stand or a car company. You have to give your business time to succeed. So many people today look to “get rich quick” online.  They spend $497 thinking they’ll make thousands by the end of the week. They spend a few hours, maybe follow the steps.  Then, at the end of the week when nothing has happened they say the course doesn’t work. Then they go out and buy another training.  And then do the same thing over and over again.

Five years later they’ve spent tens-of-thousands of dollars and have nothing to show for it. The irony of it all is the whole time they cry about not having the money to buy traffic. Or to hire a tech guy to help them build that page. They DID have the money.  They just chose to spend it on a “quick fix” mentality.

You see, if they would have just focused on ONE thing and gave it some time, eventually they would have begun to see a profit. Instead, every opportunity was analyzed through the lens of “what does this cost me?”

Maybe that is even you.

If so, stop thinking in terms of “what does this cost”  and start to ask “what will this earn me?” Start to think in terms of the return you get from your money, effort and time. Because the reality is that all it takes is a little bit of time and a whole lot of focus.

In case you’re not familiar with the story, people were offered either $1 Million dollars now… or a penny that doubled every day for a month. Most people choose the million bucks. (Get rich quick mentality). The penny starts off slowly.  In fact, after 14 days all you have to show for it is $200.  Most people would call it a scam and give up.  Yet if you stick with it, by day 30 you will have made – are you ready for this? – $10.7 MILLION dollars.

All from starting with a single penny.

So if a simple penny can do all that, imagine what you can do with just getting 100 clicks to your affiliate link every day.

Success is a numbers game. And numbers don’t lie.

With Digital Altitude, it’s a mathematical certainty that you will succeed.

  • IF you put in the effort and drive the traffic to your sales pages.
  • The numbers for you are that out of every 100 people you send to your free video page, 30 people will sign up.
  • That’s proven.
  • That’s what the D.A. system delivers time and time again…..CLICK HERE to learn more.
  • The great news for you is that your system will now continue to follow up for you on complete autopilot.
  • You  don’t have to put in any other effort as the follow-up is already built in for you.
  • Now, out of those 30 people who sign up for the free report, 1.5 will sign up for the $1 trial immediately.
  • A few more will come in later down the line after the system follows up with them
  • That may not seem like much… but remember, you only had to get 100 people to your site.
  • If you send 1,000 people, then you end up with 15 people in your down line.
  • Those are the hard numbers.
  • They’re tested and they’re proven.

Tell me, what’s the last opportunity that practically guaranteed you 15 people in your down line with very little effort?  And, like the penny that doubles every day, eventually, your small efforts will result in HUGE returns.

So if a simple penny can do all that, imagine what you can do with just getting 100 clicks to your affiliate link every day.

That’s the power of focus and consistency.

The simple truth is that making money online is NOT complicated. The internet is the great equalizer, anyone can make money online regardless of age, education, income, or sex.  All you need is the RIGHT process to follow, and by following the process, results are guaranteed.

The fastest path to cash is not “figuring out” everything yourself, but rather learning from others who have “been there, done that” to get your business off the ground in the quickest way possible.

The good news is that you have a HUGH advantage: information and guidance.  All you need to do is follow this simple step-by-step system and you will be successful too.

It’s not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves.

    Hey Joan,

We certainly do have to take responsibility for our actions. I used to be that person you wrote about. Do a course and not see my riches within a week or two, for sure it was that course. Thinking it was a load of rot. But I must say, it was those false assumptions many years ago that got me to have the outlook I have today. And for that I feel blessed.

Sounds as though you have a system that you really like Joan. I will be heading into the direction of affiliate marketing in the next couple of months, I will certainly keep this as an option later on down the track. Thank you.

      Hi Rachel 🙂

Yes we most certainly do have to take responsibility for our actions!! I can totally relate to that as well 🙂 Sounds great! It would be awesome to work with you girl!!

Thanks so much for your comment, really appreciated it 🙂

Wow! That story about the pennies is so powerful and true. Many people are looking for the quick fix…me included. At least, I used to be. Now, I know that anything valuable takes time to cultivate and grow. Great reminder, and great post, Joan.

    • Joan Post author

Thank you Shann 🙂 Absolutely, anything valuable does take time to cultivate and grow, totally agree! Appreciate your awesome comment my friend!!

Affiliate marketing isn’t even something I’m aware of 🙂 So I’ll be checking this out! One thing I have is stick-to-itness, so that sounds like it’s right in line with my thinking.
    Thank You!

    • Joan Post author

      Hi Susan 🙂

That is so awesome to hear that you will be checking out this affiliate marketing information! Good to know that you have stick-to-itness as well 🙂 Finding the right affiliate marketing business is so important to having success 🙂 Thank you for your awesome comment!

This will be very helpful for people who need to refocus their business too. Thanks for sharing. I will be sure to share it with other associates. =) Good luck.

I remember reading about the penny story. Wish they still had compound interest. I’ve learned that success is slow, like weight loss &i shy away from any pitch that says otherwise. Consistency, persistence, staying open, learning & applying, and a strategy will work if you work it.

  • Tamuria

It’s so easy to get caught up in the get rich quick promises when you start a new venture, and to give up when you don’t see the numbers. Consistency is the key. This post reminded me of the story of the tortoise and the hare, proving focus on the end game is the way to reach your goal. Your formula sounds fascinating and yes, I do believe my dreams are worth chasing. Thank you.

    • Joan Post author

Yes it is so easy to get caught up in the “get rich quick” promises, Tamura 😉 Consistency is definately the key! Absolutely you always need to be focusing on your “end” game so that you will reach your goals!!

Thanks so much for your awesome feedback, always very much appreciated 🙂

  • Jackie Harder

Yeah…the whole “overnight success” thing is bogus. it takes time and effort and, as you point out, focus and consistency as well. I so agree with your point of stop focusing on the expense and start focusing on the return on investment for your time and money. And don’t give up when you don’t get the short-term gains you “believed” you would get. Great job!

    • Joan Post author

It does take time and effort as well as focus and consistency to have success , Jackie! Appreciate your awesome comment 🙂 Giving up is NOT an option IF you want success….period 🙂 Thank you!

  • Teresa Salhi

I love the penny math story and love the topic of consistency, persistence, etc. It is even mentioned as one of the virtues that Napolean Hill talks about in Think and Grow Rich. Great article!

  • Karen

Yes, I have been doing a little of the chasing the next thing, but I realize that isn’t working. I need to be patient. I am rebranding to create something that is authentically me and then in my written goal, I plan to stick with it for 18 months at a minimum. Thanks for the reminder of the doubling of the penny.

  • Beverley Golden

The penny story is very powerful indeed Joan! Thanks for sharing it and wouldn’t our lives be so much richer if we practiced patience, persistence and trust with all things we want to grow. Even a garden takes time. We can learn a lot from nature too. I am aware of affiliate marking, however, have never really explored an avenue that aligned with me. This is great info you share and I wish you ongoing success for yourself and all the people you are sharing this info and opportunity with!

    • Joan Post author

Absolutely our lives would be so much richer if we did indeed practice patience, persistence and trust, Beverley 🙂 Thanks so much for your comment, always appreciate your feedback 🙂

So true.. got to work it.. it won’t work it for you without you. I think that too many jump into MLM’s, self included, and think… I think this is a great product, others will too, they just have to… but everyone has their own agenda.. but it’s a matter of putting in the work.

  • Donna Merrill

    Hi Joan,

I love your penny story. Compile that with consistency and its a win win situation. Digital business is the way to go! Your system looks great and I agree…it must be simple! Not over-complicated lol.

    • Joan Post author

      Hey Donna 🙂
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed the “penny” story 😉 Consistency and persistence daily will bring you to success! No other way around it lol A simple system that is duplicatable is key 😉

  • Erika Mohssen-Beyk

    Hi Joan,
many start a course and think to get rich over night ,
but it needs time and being consistent. good to stay
with one program and work through it especially if
    there is support.
Thank you for the encouraging post

  • David Merrill

It’s not so much about what we “want to do”, Joan, it’s much more about what we actually do.

The problem is that people don’t always have the conviction to stick with a plan, consistently, daily, always keeping their dreams in front of them as primary motivators.

When you pursue you dreams without hesitation, you will always end up in a better place than if you never try at all.

Sounds like you’ve got a good plan for people to follow, Joan.

    • Joan Post author

Absolutely David! It is all about what we actually DO 😉 Thanks so much for your comment and feedback! MOST do not stick to a plan long enough to see any kind of success lol

    Hi Joan

What a post and what words of wisdom. I love the penny story and you are so right that we can hold on to our excuses and limit ourselves or we can go from our comfort zone and make a difference. Thanks for sharing. Take Care

  • Joan Potter

Okay, I’m a neophyte at this, so I’ll ask: when you speak of Digital Altitude, I understand that DA is a specific marketing program, right? and when you say “If you send 1,000 people, then you end up with 15 people in your down line.” Where do the 1,000 people come from? Sorry for my not understanding – Heck, I’m just proud of myself for no longer saying “Book Face” instead of “Facebook.”

  • Chris Hooker

Nice post Joan, these are the things that everyone “knows” but nobody takes action on. We ALL are prone to the ‘shiny object syndrome’, some of us a strong enough to resist (sometimes), some are not and some just NEVER fall for it. The latter are those who do well in this game.
Stick to one thing until it is running smoothly and producing income, THEN it is time that you can move on and start up th next thing you want to try. Stopping and trying each new “system” as it becomes available leads you to one end only. It’s called BROKE!

    • Joan Post author

Thanks Chris! Absolutley! We must stick to ONE thing until successful BEFORE we move on to the next! Most do not…….Appreciate your awesome feedback 😉

  • Joyce Hansen

There’s a sufficient number of psychological studies showing that the majority of people will go for the immediate gain as to the delayed gain, even when they know that the reward will be greater if they delay. I think it also explains why people go into business with high expectations, but get discouraged when they don’t realize it may take a lot longer to reach their goals. Advice from someone who’s been there – dream first then plan and follow your blueprint.

    • Joan Post author

Absolutely agree with you Joyce! Dream first then plan and follow a blueprint 🙂 There is NO such thing as over night success lol

  • Emi

    Hi Joan,
Absolutely, every business takes time, not only businesses but everything in life takes time.
We have to give it the time to grow and give ourselves time to learn, and make all the mistakes so we can correct them 🙂
    Thank you for sharing!
