How To Get Your Prospect To Join You

So, how can you get your prospect to join you?

Why would someone join your team, or buy a product with you when you have NO ‘EXPERT STATUS’ and NO CREDIBILITY or AUTHORITY , and have not been able to succeed yourself yet?

Bear with me, because I am going to show you how, but first think about when you first came online.  You did not know what you were doing and had no knowledge of this industry, nor were you an expert or an authority, so you were unable to teach others……and you may still be in that situation.

Here is a little secret, before even considering you as their sponsor and the person who can help them make money, you’re prospect needs to know the following 5 things:

  1. Ayourprospectwantsre you Knowledgeable?
  2. Do you have Credibility?
  3. Do they Know & Like you?
  4. Can you be Trusted?
  5. Can you Guide / Teach them to Succeed?

Would you ever join someone who was BRAND NEW, NOT CREDIBLE, that you did not KNOW, LIKE or TRUST or you didn’t think could GUIDE and TEACH you HOW to succeed?

If you’re just getting started online, or maybe you’ve been doing it for a while now but still have not had any success… how can YOU get around this and SUCCEED?

How can YOU gain the knowledge, and the credibility so you can get your prospects to KNOW, LIKE and TRUST you and teach them to succeed?

“There IS a way”…….says Gavin Mountford (Network Marketing Superstars)

As you may have noticed there is so much time, effort, energy and wasted money focused on the wrong things.

So, what’s the solution?

There are 2 ways that trump all other ways to hit all the above ,says Gavin ,and if you look around you’ll see that 95% of online marketers who succeed have followed ONE or both of these methods…..and you MUST do these in order so you can succeed too:

1. Blogging
2. Create Your Own Info Products

Because if you don’t know much yet… the FASTEST way to gain knowledge is to learn it from somewhere and then WRITE about it. Then you will gain more and more knowledge and you will start to ATTRACT people.  These people start paying ATTENTION to you, join your list, contact YOU to ask if they can join YOUR business and YOUR credibility and authority increases as does your income.

Then once you’ve built a big enough list, assembled a community of followers and have got some RESULTS, you can turn around and put YOUR knowledge into an INFO PRODUCT (like an ebook or your very own course) and sell it…….and then your credibility will go through the roof!

After reading this, I wonder if I should be blogging an e-book on something that there is a need for and that I am learning more about every day- learned the hard way.

Isn’t that always the truth we learn things the hard way Alana 😉 Depends if that is what you want to do with your blogging……if you are interested in monetizing your blog, let me know I have a resource that you may find useful 🙂

    Great post, Joan, as always!
That’s absolutely right, when you’re just getting started, having a blog is absolutely a MUST – that’s the fastest way to position yourself as an authority in the industry, and attract people to You by putting valuable content out there!

Thank you Jelena!! It is much easier to utilize attraction marketing to position yourself as an authority, people are attracted to YOU and what valuable content that you put out 🙂

I believe we all have an “expertise” just by virtue of living and have life experiences, Joan. The key is to turn that knowledge, wisdom and information into something viable to share with others. And yes, blogging is a great way to share, as is info products, which seems to be more challenging to create something unique and that people will have both an interest and a need for. Having been in this place myself and attempting to “come up” with the perfect products, I get that although there is always a way, it isn’t always as clear when your world doesn’t necessarily revolve around online communities. Enjoy the post, as always! Food for thought. 🙂

      Hi Beverley,
Yes, very true we do have an “expertise” just by our living and our life experiences 🙂 100% agree with you, we do need to turn that knowledge, wisdom and information into something viable and valuable to share with others 🙂 Blogging for me as been that outlet that I can utilize and share on a platform that can reach so many people 🙂 So glad you enjoyed this post, much appreciated and thank you for your awesome feedback as always 🙂

Definately food for thought my friend 🙂

Thank you for the advice on blogging. I am finally finding things that I want to blog about as I make my journey through business building. This is a nice reminder that others are probably in the same position I was in and might enjoy my perspective.

This is encouraging Joan and I agree with what you say. Blogging is great way to build your presence on the Social Media platforms. I still regard myself as a newbie but people have approached in response to my blogs or the posts I’ve shared. An Info product is also a great way to position yourself as the expert and gain credibility in your chosen field. I love the way that you’re helping others to get started. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with you that blogging and create an information product are great way to build knowledge and credibility. I also heard that interviewing successful people is a great way to build knowledge and credibility.

Great post! Too often entrepreneurs forget that your online presence is an extension of your brand, and as such, has the primary goal of relationship-building with your dream customers. Of course this means establishing trust and rapport by demonstrating your expertise.

Joan! I absolutely agree that being an authority in your own niche allows you to establish trust with your audience. Blogging and creating your own info products are the basis for true success as a leader in your network marketing company. Great advice, as always!

    Hi Joan,
very informative article. I like how you broke down the 5 things we need to turn a prospect into a customer. People do business with people they trust. I also found that bligging is helping my business.
    thanks for the tips!

    Hi Joan,
This is a great reminder – that prospects buy only from those they KNOW, LIKE & TRUST. Creating something is the one thing all business owners should do. I saw a video by a social friend of mine who said that in the beginning, nobody was hiring him to speak so he created his own conference. In the beginning, as businessowners we all have to create our marketplace. He hired himself, created this conference and now several years later – he is being hired for keynotes, etc. and has become a great presence as an influencer through social media.

    Best, Tamara
